The location was lovely, on the waterfront in Umhlanga with easy access to a shopping area and all the stores. After long day I visited Zululand Brewing Company for a couple of drinks.

Good home base for exploring Durban. Clean place, excellent service, superfriendly and excellent staff. Central location, just a pleasant stroll away from umhlanga Lighthouse. A private safe, central heating, and a work desk in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. Lovely view of the sea from the window.

We were offered king room complete with self catering facilities very near the shops, patio onto garden, as for instance. The location was convenient and the best, for example, Makiwa Gallery was at a medium distance from the hotel. Liked the very convenient area.

The location was great and stunning, with bars and pubs close to the hotel. There was a good restaurant, all the stores and a grocery shop next door.

Everything is excellent here, had a quite comfortable stay for 1 night on recent business trip. The location is marvellous, greatly enjoyed to be close to some leisure places, we've visited bars and restaurants.

The owner was very organized. Peaceful and quiet guesthouse. Separate, spacious bath and shower. Convenient outside coffee table with ground coffee.

Breakfast with fruit, the usual 'full English' option, continental goodies. Neat rooms, a spacious bathroom. Location close to modern pier as well as the main restaurant.

The owners and staff were more than friendly, they went out of they way just to make us comfortable. They are more than hospitable, they show love and care for their guests, thAnk you Sandy, your husband and staff, you were a God send!

Location central ( very easy walking distance and road access) to Umhlanga central. Personal welcome & friendliness by staff, comfortable facilities and relaxed yet professinal atmoshpere was "homely" for both vacation and business travelers. Recomended.

I absolutely loved my stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect - just a short stroll from the main strip in Umhlanga Rocks, where I could easily find a variety of restaurants for dinner or take a relaxing walk along the beautiful seafront. The service at the hotel was impeccable, with friendly staff who catered to all my needs. The room was well-appointed and had all the amenities I could ask for, including a comfortable bed and strong wifi. I especially enjoyed the beautiful garden setting and the privacy it provided. It was truly a haven of tranquility.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Friendly service and excellent facilities

Would have been nice if the tv in the room we stayed in was positioned a bit higher - from the bed you were looking down at the tv - nothing serious - personal preference.
